MINIMUM REGION-BASED CONSTRUCTION UNIT LABOR COSTS

According to Circular No. 15/2019/TT-BXD issued by the Ministry of Construction on December 26, 2019 and coming into effect from February 15, 2020:

– Accordingly, the Ministry of Construction discloses the ranges of minimum construction unit labor costs for 04 regions in accordance with regional minimum wages. Provincial, municipal People’s Committees rely on the instructions in this Circular to formulate their respective ranges of construction unit labor costs in accordance with the below ranges of unit labor costs disclosed by the Ministry:

(i) Range of unit labor costs applied to construction workers, drivers, operators of construction machineries and equipment, surveying engineers:

• Region I from 213,000 – 280,000 VND/day;
• Region II from 195,000 – 260,000 VND/day;
• Region III from 180,000 – 246,000 VND/day;
• Region IV from 172,000 – 237,000 VND/day.

(ii) Range of unit labor costs applied to masters, first mates, operators of river/sea ships, seafarers, machinists, technicians:

• Region I from 348,000 – 520,000 VND/day;
• Region II from 319,000 – 477,000 VND/day;
• Region III from 296,000 – 443,000 VND/day;
• Region IV from 280,000 – 422,000 VND/day.

(iii) Range of unit labor costs applied to artisans, divers:

• Region I from 590,000 – 620,000 VND/day;
• Region II from 540,000 – 568,000 VND/day;
• Region III from 504,000 – 527,000 VND/day;
• Region IV from 479,000 – 502,000 VND/day.
