According to Official Dispatch No. 245/TLD of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and coming into effect from March 18, 2020:
– Accordingly, the date for paying trade union fees for the first 06 months of2020 is extended to June 30, 2020 for manufacturers, businesses affected by Covid-19 (enterprises which must temporarily lay off at least 50% of their total number employees who make mandatory social security contributions).
– If after the above-mentioned time, the Covid-19 epidemic does not decrease and enterprises continue to face difficulties then the time shall be extended until December 31, 2020.
