Pursuant to Decree No. 82/2020/ND-CP issued by Minister of Finance on June 01, 2020 and coming into effect from September 01, 2020:
Accordingly, as of September 01, 2020, acts of violation of regulations of contract and transaction shall be applied the fines as follows:
(i) A fine between VND7 million and VND10 million shall be imposed for any of the following violations:
- Modifying, erasing or falsifying the contents of papers, documents for contract to be notarized;
- Using papers, documents issued by competent agencies, organizations or persons that have been erased or modified to falsify the contents for contract notarization.
(ii) A fine of between VND20million and VND30 million shall be imposed for any of the following violations:
- Forging, hiring or asking others to impersonate a notarization requester; forging, hiring or asking another person to impersonate the person with related interests and obligations in the contract to notarize such contract; Forging the signature of the notarization requester;
- Requiring notarization false contracts;
- Providing false information and documents to notarize the contract ((its old fine is between VND3 million and VND7 million);
- Hindering notarization activities.
